NEEDWOOD MANSION houses the offices of Montgomery Parks Stewardship staff. ASM Mid-Potomac Chapter, Inc. is an entirely unrelated entity other than occasional cooperative activities.

Our cooperative partner, the Montgomery Parks Archaeology Program has temporarily suspended its volunteer program at Needwood Mansion due to staffing and construction logistics.
There's usually a house tour during Montgomery Parks' Archaeology Day in early May. Needwood Mansion is not public, accessible or rentable.

JOSIAH HENSON MUSEUM & PARK opened in 2021. ASM Mid-Potomac members have contributed to this site for more than a decade with donations, archaeology, education and outreach. Accessible.

AGRICULTURAL HISTORY FARM PARK Activity Center, 18400 Muncaster Rd., Derwood, MD, 20855. Take the unlit access road off Muncaster Road. Don't confuse Muncaster Road (the continuation of Redland Road) with Muncaster Mill Road/Rte.115, which crosses it. The Activity Center is the modern building at the very end of the access road (home of the U. Maryland Agricultural Extension Service). Bear right to park behind the Center. Accessible.
